The Cadet is a small tender with nothing to fear from the larger ones. Its buoyancy structure with progressive capacity gives more stability and hence more safety. This unique concept, especially suitable for 4-stroke motors, has an amazing load capacity and superior space. Very compact and easy to stow in a cockpit locker. The Cadets are a totally welded boat [with 3 layers on the seams], made in Strongan ® Duotex ® 1100 decitex fabrics and also have re-inforced cone ends. Also fitted are bow handles, 2 x stainless steel towing rings, all round ribbed rubbing strake for added protection, aluminium outboard plate, self bailing drain bungs, a rapid installation bench seat (except the Cadet 200), re-inforced aluminium oars and new oarlock system, suitable foot pump, repair kit, owners manual, and Carry Bag. Well equipped, they are fitted with a rapidly removable bench seat, “safe-click” oar supports and a self-bailer with interior control. The boat, including the oars, fits in one bag. The Acti- V hull combines a high pressure inflatable floor and keel with a deeper 'V', both made of the same material, providing a more rigid hull, thus better performance. The keel, higher and thinner forms a very deep V, similar to the shape of a 'deep V' RIB. However it remains inflatable! This keel design laterally strengthens the floor helping to resist any flexing. The floor and keel are connected by an inflation joint and are inflated simultaneously from a single valve.
